A Delaware Department of Justice appellate attorney has been named as a new Magistrate in Chancery, filling a vacancy left by Vice Chancellor Bonnie W. David’s promotion to the top bench in Chancery Court.
David Hume IV will serve as one of five judicial officers appointed to help manage the business court’s heavy workload. He has “extensive experience handling complex, sensitive, and often high-profile matters,” Chancellor Kathaleen St. Jude McCormick said in a statement Monday. “He has labored long to improve the administration of justice for Delawareans, and has done so at an extremely sophisticated level.”
