DePaul University Avoids Trial Over Professor’s Israel Article

DePaul University convinced a federal court to reject all of a philosophy professor’s remaining claims in a lawsuit alleging he faced discrimination after publishing an article stating Israel has a moral right to annex Palestinian lands.

Jason Hill didn’t experience any adverse actions that could properly support his race bias, retaliation, and hostile work environment claims, the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said in a Thursday opinion granting summary judgment.
