Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) tapped state First District Court of Appeal Judge Adam Tanenbaum to fill an open seat on the state Supreme Court Wednesday.
In his announcement DeSantis touted his experience as general counsel of the Florida House of Representatives and Florida Department of State, and as a public defender, saying he’s probably one of the 10 most knowledgeable people on how Florida’s government works.
“I’ve been running the executive branch—he may know more than me,” DeSantis said.
