EPA Seeks Judicial Panel Review in PFAS Drinking Water Case (1)

The EPA is asking a federal appeals court to convene a panel of judges to determine whether the process the agency used last year to regulate four PFAS in drinking water violated the Safe Drinking Water Act.

At issue is the Trump administration’s request for the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to vacate drinking water limits set by the Biden administration for four of six specific per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances.
