A former law student couldn’t convince a judge to recuse himself in a suit claiming his law school disqualified him from attending after allegedly refusing to accommodate his Tourette Syndrome.
Judge Edward M. Chen also declined to move the suit to a different division in a Dec. 7 order for the US District Court for the Northern District of California. Chen rejected the student’s argument that he is biased in favor of the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco.
