Hillsdale College Beats Appeal to Revive Sex Assaults Case

Two female students who said Hillsdale College officials didn’t properly handle their sexual assault complaints can’t revive their proposed class action against the institution, the Sixth Circuit said Thursday.

The three-judge panel, in a partially-unanimous decision, rejected the students’ negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and sex discrimination claims against the Michigan-based Christian college, saying they didn’t adequately plead facts to support them.
