Mike Huckabee Gets Claim Revived in Suit Over CBD Ad, Likeness

Mike Huckabee, the US ambassador to Israel and former Arkansas governor, succeeded in his bid to revive part of his lawsuit alleging Meta Platforms Inc. posted ads that falsely identify him as a consumer and producer of CBD gummies.

A lower court appropriately dismissed Huckabee’s complaint under Arkansas law, but it didn’t properly consider Meta’s commercial benefit from the CBD ads, the Third Circuit said in a Tuesday opinion.
