PG&E Settlement Foes Look to Later Hearing After Judge OKs Pact

A set of PG&E Corp. investors will likely get consideration later for issues they’ve flagged with a proposed $100 million securities settlement, now that a federal judge has formalized preliminary approval of the deal.

PG&E, its underwriters, and others received Judge Edward J. Davila’s go-ahead for their settlement with investors over subsidiary Pacific Gas and Electric Co.'s safety compliance before devastating California wildfires late Thursday. The class action is pending in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
