Proposed Class Action Targets Polymarket Over Sports Gambling

A prediction-markets platform allows its users to partake in illegal sports gambling, a new lawsuit alleged.

Lorenzo Miro San Diego seeks to represent a New York, California, and nationwide class of people who bet money on Polymarket, alleging the platform is “an unlicensed sports betting enterprise prohibited under various state law,” according to a Wednesday complaint filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
