The US Occupational Safety and Health Administration will issue a regulation to address workplace violence, President Donald Trump’s pick to lead the agency told lawmakers.
“Absolutely, I see it as a massive opportunity for improvement, and I look forward to working with your office on it,” David Keeling told Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) Thursday, during the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions hearing on his nomination.
The Department of Labor will propose a rule for workplace violence this month, Baldwin confirmed. Baldwin has previously introduced legislation to require companies to develop workplace violence prevention plans.
