The Washington Post beat a proposed consumer class action alleging it engaged in deceptive sales practices in connection to its annual digital subscription pricing.
The consumers’ amended complaint still failed to show that the advertised prices on the Post’s website misrepresents the cost of the annual subscription, Judge Araceli Martínez-Olguín of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said in a Monday order dismissing the case with prejudice.
