A former research scientist at Yale School of Medicine dropped allegations that he was retaliated against for reporting sex discrimination he faced on the job.
The parties filed a stipulation of dismissal with prejudice Jan. 31 in the US District Court for the District of Connecticut. Simon Zhornitsky alleged Yale opened a Title IX investigation into him based on a non-employee’s report of sexual misconduct on the same day the school was notified of a discrimination complaint he made to the state’s human rights commission. He alleged his reputation was affected and his contract shortened as a result.
