Honeywell to Pay Warburg $2.16 Billion for Pump Maker Sundyne

March 4, 2025, 12:11 PM UTC

Honeywell International Inc. will pay $2.16 billion in cash to purchase Sundyne, the maker of pumps and compressors owned by private equity firm Warburg Pincus.

The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of the year, Honeywell said Tuesday in a statement.

Sundyne brings approximately 1,000 skilled employees and will add “significant recurring aftermarket revenue,” Honeywell said. It follows Honeywell’s announcement of a plan to separate into three publicly listed companies.

Honeywell’s shares fell less than 1% before regular trading in New York.
