Janus Henderson, Hambro Back BasePoint’s Offer for UK Lender IPF

Two of the top 10 shareholders of International Personal Finance Plc have backed a takeover of the British lender by US specialty finance company BasePoint Capital.

JO Hambro, which holds 3.04% of IPF, said it intends to vote in favor of an enhanced and final offer agreed this week, while Janus Henderson, with a stake of 4.08%, has also committed to back it.
