Lazard Hires BofA Healthcare Banker Ahdieh for Pharma Services

Lazard Inc. has hired investment banker Omid Ahdieh as a managing director in its global healthcare group, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Previously at Bank of America Corp., Ahdieh will advise companies that provide services to the biopharmaceutical industry, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the hire hasn’t yet been announced. He’ll join Lazard in the coming months after a standard period of leave and will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina, the person said.
