NFL star Bobby Wagner has purchased a minority stake in the WNBA’s Seattle Storm.
Wagner acquired an undisclosed piece of the franchise, which now has total valuation of $325 million, according to the Storm. That’s up from a reported $130 million in 2024, making it one of the most valuable franchises in the league and reflecting the boom in women’s sports.
Wagner, a linebacker who spent his first 10 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, said he wants to set an example for other players to get involved in investing. He’s been taking cues from his mentor,
