Oaktree Hires Bain, ICG Execs to Bolster European Direct Lending

Oaktree Capital Management has hired two executives from Bain Capital and Intermediate Capital Group as it seeks to build out its direct lending business in Europe, people with knowledge of the matter said.

Alessandro Nuti, who worked at Bain for more than seven years, is joining as a managing director, while Kieran Thind is joining from Intermediate Capital as a senior vice president, the people said, asking not to be identified. Both will report to Nael Khatoun.

Oaktree, Bain Capital and ICG declined to comment. Nuti and Thind didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
