Patrick Industries Inc. and rival recreational-vehicle supplier LCI Industries said they’re in talks to combine.

Patrick Industries and LCI both described the potential deal as a merger of equals in separate statements confirming an earlier Bloomberg News report.

A deal could be announced in the coming weeks, according to people familiar with the matter who asked not to be identified because it was private. The companies are negotiating a potential all-stock transaction, according to one of the people.

No final decision has been made and the talks could still fall apart, the people added.
