Perella Weinberg Hires Leerink’s Blake for Health-Care Deals

Perella Weinberg Partners has hired Leerink Partners’ global co-head of investment banking Barry Blake, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Blake is set to join Perella after a period of leave, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the appointment isn’t public yet.

A spokesperson for Perella confirmed Blake will join the firm as a partner in its health-care group and declined to comment further. A representative for Leerink didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
