Veteran JPMorgan Dealmaker Ed Byers to Retire After 36 Years

Ed Byers, JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s vice chair of investment banking in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, is retiring at the end of next month.

Byers has decided to leave after 36 years at the US bank, according to a memo reviewed by Bloomberg News. He held several senior roles at JPMorgan, including as the head of EMEA diversified industrials group and co-head of UK investment banking for six years.
