Bard College Delays NYC Gala After President’s Ties to Epstein

Bard College postponed a gala celebrating its long-time president Leon Botstein after revelations came to light about the school leader’s involvement with Jeffrey Epstein.

The party, which was slated to be held at luxury Manhattan event venue Cipriani on March 26, “has been postponed,” according to an e-mailed announcement sent by the event’s co-chairs viewed by Bloomberg. The message did not mention when it would be rescheduled.

A spokesperson for the school’s board of trustees confirmed the postponement. A representative for Botstein did not have an immediate comment.
