Bragg Talks ICE, But Not Trump, at Debate

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg opened the door — if just slightly — to potential prosecutions of ICE agents, saying he’s looking at whether his office could bring such cases.

Bragg was asked at a NY1 debate on Friday if his office would take action against ICE officers if they were in violation of local laws.

“It is something we are looking at,” he said, noting Rep. Dan Goldman, his fellow Manhattan Democrat, wrote a letter to NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch saying she should consider arrests of federal agents. But Bragg said such cases would be “complicated” and “case specific.” ...
