Congress Set to Give Transit Systems $100 Million for World Cup

Public transportation systems across the US are poised to get a $100.3 million assist from the federal government as Congress considers directing more money to transit agencies in cities that are hosting this year’s FIFA World Cup games.

Soccer fans from around the world will be attending games in 11 different US cities, including Dallas, Houston, Seattle, Los Angeles, Boston and Atlanta.
