Veteran Banker Przygoda Launches Own Boutique Advisory Firm

Alejandro Przygoda, a veteran financial services dealmaker who was most recently a co-head of global investment banking at Jefferies Financial Group Inc., is setting up his own advisory firm.

Przygoda & Co. — shortened to PRZ — will be an independent investment banking firm, building on Przygoda’s extensive ties in financial services, including the insurance sector. While Przygoda’s background is in insurance, the idea is to build a boutique advisory firm catering to a wide range of industries, offering independent advice on mergers, divestitures, takeover defense, capital raising and other strategic matters, he said in an interview.
