MTA, LIRR Reach Potential Deal to End Strike

New York City’s transit system and Long Island Rail Road workers reached a potential labor agreement to end a historic strike that suspended service on the largest commuter line in the US, Michelle Kaske reports.

The MTA reached a tentative deal with five unions on wage increases, Gov. Kathy Hochul said.
