Nordic Ware Set to Face Class Action for ‘Made in the USA’ Claim

Nordic Ware Inc. will have to defend against claims that the “Made in the USA” labels on its bakeware are deceptive because a material used to make them is mined and transformed into aluminum overseas.

A proposed class of consumers has alleged facts stating plausible claims “for each count they press,” said Judge Eric C. Tostrud of the US District Court for the District of Minnesota on Monday, rejecting Nordic Ware’s motion to dismiss.
