NCR Cements Dodge of $13 Million Patent Verdict as Justices Skip

The US Supreme Court declined to undo a Federal Circuit order wiping out a $13.2 million patent-infringement verdict against NCR Corp.

The justices on Monday denied CloudofChange LLC’s cert petition arguing to reinstate a jury verdict finding NCR vicariously infringed two point-of-sale system patents by instructing its users how to use its Silver offering.
