The private equity firm is working with an adviser to break Adamo into two parts: fiber-optic broadband networks and retail operations, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing plans that aren’t public. Ardian could look to sell the broadband business after the split at a later stage, the people said.
Deliberations are ongoing and Ardian could still decide against a move, the people said. A representative for Ardian declined to comment.
