Cruise Founder’s Robot Startup Is in Talks for $4 Billion Value

The Bot Company, a startup working on robots that can do chores for people, is set to raise $250 million in a funding round that will value the company at more than $4 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.

The company was started by Kyle Vogt, who previously founded and led the self-driving car company Cruise. Vogt launched the Bot Company last year alongside former Tesla Inc. artificial intelligence leader Paril Jain and former Cruise software engineer Luke Holoubek.
