Drug Firm Apotex Seeks Valuation Over C$5 Billion in Canada IPO

Canadian drug manufacturer Apotex Health Corp. and its shareholders are looking to raise as much as C$1.15 billion (about $830 million) in an initial public offering, at a valuation that would mean a healthy profit for SK Capital Partners.

The initial offering is expected to be between 41.7 million and 50 million shares at a price range between C$20 and C$24, the company said in a statement Monday.
