Ex-Goldman Banker Grows Family Office With Advisory Firm Merger

A scion from the dynasty behind one of Europe’s largest infrastructure fortunes is merging his family office with a deals-sourcing business in a major expansion of his private investment firm.

Louis De Clercq’s Capnor is folding Calista Direct Investors into its own operations almost a year after the former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. banker’s family office took a majority stake in the provider of proprietary opportunities in private equity and venture capital, according to a statement.
