Ex-Northvolt CEO Gets New Funds for AI Startup in Manufacturing

Two former executives from bankrupt battery maker Northvolt AB have launched a new venture in Sweden that will utilize artificial intelligence to help manufacturing processes.

Only months after the electric-vehicle supplier collapsed with debts of $5.8 billion, its former Chief Executive Officer Peter Carlsson has teamed up with Siddharth Khullar, who led Northvolt’s AI efforts, to develop an industrial software platform with a team of up to 20 people.
