Hedge Fund Indus Hires Japan Head to Step Up Campaigns (Correct)

American hedge fund firm Indus Capital Partners has hired a Japan representative to head its Tokyo office, adding to a number of new leadership hires by foreign financial firms in the capital city.

The $4.6 billion firm said it has appointed Makio Inui as a Japan-based partner. He was most recently at venture capital firm Soul Ventures and formerly a telecommunications analyst at UBS Group AG and Salomon Brothers.
