JPMorgan London M&A Banker Edwards Is Said to Leave for KKR

JPMorgan Chase & Co. banker Jonty Edwards is leaving to join private equity firm KKR & Co., according to people with knowledge of the matter.

The London-based managing director is set to join KKR’s capital solutions arm after a period of leave, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing private information. He will also be a managing director at KKR.

Representatives for JPMorgan and KKR declined to comment.

Edwards, who joined JPMorgan in its mergers and acquisitions group in 2015, has risen through the ranks in his 11 years at the firm. He was named one of ...
