NatWest Follows Morgan Stanley With SRT Tied to Private Markets

NatWest Group Plc has earmarked about £2 billion ($2.7 billion) of private market fund loans for a significant risk transfer, according to people with knowledge of the matter, following similar deals from two Wall Street banks.

The reference portfolio consists of so-called subscription lines extended to European private markets funds, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the matter is private. The deal is at an early stage and terms are subject to discussions with investors.

A representative for NatWest declined to comment.
