A top executive at the family office for Qatar’s former ruler has joined a surge in well-heeled individuals shifting their residence away from the UK amid tax hikes on the nation’s wealthy.

Michele Faissola, who was one of the most senior London-based employees at Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani’s Dilmon, now lists his usual place of residence in his native Italy after previously citing the UK for more than a decade, according to registry filings.
