Conagra Faces Food Truck Worker’s Suit Over Cooking Spray Burn

Conagra Brands Inc. and Full-Fill Industries LLC must keep facing some claims by a food truck worker who was severely burned in an explosion and flash fire allegedly caused by a can of cooking spray, an Illinois federal court said.

Pochanart Ericson bought a can of Conagra’s Chef’s Quality Cooking Spray. While she was working, the can suddenly began spraying its flammable contents through the u-shaped vents at the bottom, she alleges.

The cooking spray allegedly is used in commercial and consumer kitchens.
