Polar Beverages Escapes Revived ‘100% Natural’ Deception Suit

Polar Beverages for the second time has avoided a proposed consumer class action suit that alleges it falsely advertises its seltzer water as “100% Natural” despite the fact it contains synthetic ingredients.

But Judge Edward M. Chen of the US District Court for the Northern District of California gave the plaintiffs “one final opportunity” to file another revised complaint that bolsters several of their claims, including that the seltzer’s ingredients are synthetic and not natural.
