Amazon’s Access Policy Violated Settlement, Labor Board Rules

Amazon.com Inc. ran afoul of a settlement agreement with National Labor Relations Board prosecutors by issuing a rule restricting off-duty workers’ access to its facilities, the NLRB ruled.

The board’s Tuesday ruling that Amazon failed to comply with the settlement deal follows its March order finding that the access policy itself violated federal labor law.

The decision comes amid a spike in action involving the NLRB and the online retail behemoth in recent weeks.
