Federal Unions Sue Trump Administration Over Labor Panel Changes

More than half a dozen unions filed a lawsuit against the Federal Labor Relations Authority in response to a policy change designed to concentrate power in Washington—and diminish the role of career civil servants.

The public and private sector unions say the board’s decision to strip representation power from regional directors was arbitrary and poorly planned, according to a complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
