Origin Materials Inc.‘s $9 million settlement garnered a federal judge’s final blessing to end investor claims that the sustainable plastics maker hid shifting plans that delayed a manufacturing facility’s construction.

The settlement class includes those who got Origin securities from March 7, 2023, to Aug. 9, 2023, Judge William B. Shubb said, certifying it and the deal in an order entered Thursday.
