Michael Granston rejoined Covington as a partner in its false claims act investigations and litigation practice in Washington, the firm announced Thursday.
Granston will serve as chair of the practice group and represents clients in false claims act investigations and litigation across life sciences, health care, government contracts and other industries.
He previously served as the Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division’s Commercial Litigation Branch at the U.S. Department of Justice, where he supervised many of the most significant false claims act matters while playing a key role in formulating the department’s false claims act priorities and policies, ...
