Golden Entertainment Inc. has agreed to pay $100,000 to settle a settle a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit filed by the EEOC in Maryland, the agency said Wednesday.
The company, which previously owned and operated Rocky Gap Casino in Flintstone, Maryland, allegedly violated Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act when it continued to assign a female bartender to work with a male bartender who made sexual comments and physically groped her, despite her complaints, according to the EEOC.
