A group of New Hampshire organizations, school districts, and individuals convinced a federal court to halt enforcement of a state law that bars schools from engaging in activities related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The plaintiffs are likely to show that the law violates the US Constitution for not providing fair notice of prohibited conduct, Judge Landya McCafferty of the US District Court for the District of New Hampshire said Thursday, issuing a preliminary injunction against the measure.
