Patent Trial and Appeal Board Judge Bonilla Joins Sterne Kessler

Jacqueline Wright Bonilla joined Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox as a director in its biotechnology & chemical and trial & appellate practice groups, the firm announced today.

Bonilla brings more than a decade’s worth of experience at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and served in senior positions at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. As Deputy Chief Administrative Patent Judge at the PTAB, she managed operations and oversaw all judges and Board staff, including vice chief judges, lead judges, and more than 200 administrative patent judges, the firm said.
