ANTI-ABORTION STATE LAWMAKERS are increasingly pushing proposals to cut off Planned Parenthood from state Medicaid programs.

  • The movement has strengthened across statehouses in response to the Trump administration’s yearlong pause on federal Medicaid reimbursements to abortion providers along with the US Supreme Court’s ruling that Medicaid beneficiaries don’t have a right to sue state programs for refusing to pay for services offered by abortion providers.
