Marine Corps’ Logistics Cancellation Was Rational, Court Says

MetroStar Systems LLC failed to show that the US Marine Corps improperly canceled a logistics services procurement worth more than $100 million after the agency identified flaws, the US Court of Federal Claims said.

The agency met the “low bar” of providing an adequate explanation for its decision, which was that the solicitation contained an unexpected ambiguity that potentially favored CACI, the incumbent contractor, Judge Stephen S. Schwartz said in an opinion to dismiss made public Tuesday.
