OpenAI Tells Calif. to Nix Copyright Disclosure: States of Play

AI USE DISCLOSURE TO COPYRIGHT holder should be required, a representative for OpenAI told California lawmakers Monday. Artificial intelligence developers should not have to tell copyright holders whether their works are in a model’s training data set, they said.
