Paxton’s Weak Video Blasted by Judge in Latino Voter Group Spat

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s (R) has produced no evidence that a Latino advocacy group is registering non-citizens to vote, a federal judge said Thursday, signaling a likely end to his bid to revoke the organization’s authority to conduct business in the state.

US District Court Judge Robert Pitman suggested the wrongdoing Paxton cited in going after Jolt Initiative Inc. instead shows the group obeyed elections laws in registering voters.
