Texas 2021 Election Integrity Law Spared in NAACP Standing Loss

Two Texas groups advocating for voter rights for minority populations can’t challenge a 2021 state law designed to tamp down voter fraud and intimidation, a state appeals court ruled Tuesday.

Texas State Conference of the NAACP and Common Cause Texas haven’t demonstrated an injury to continue litigating against changes made to how the state handles poll watchers, voter assistance, solicitation of mail-in voting applications, and mail-in voting identification-match requirements.
